Cabin

C˚3 / Off-Grid

  • 2 Guests
  • 1 Bed

Our refuge on the edge of Lac du Castor, located a 1.5 km hike from the main entrance, is completely off-the-grid , which gives you the perfect opportunity to disconnect.

This simple and modern shelter boasts wide rectangular windows which frame the outdoors perfectly. A wood stove for cold nights, a small space for cooking and a composting toilet are inside the cabin. A Jackery portable battery will give you just enough power to turn on a few lights and to charge your phone, and an outdoor fire pit creates the perfect environment for long nights under the stars.

When conditions are good, and at a moderate pace, it takes about 25 minutes to get to the refuge on foot. There is moderate cellular reception at the cabin. We highly recommend you pack light, and transport your belongings in an appropriate backpack.

Although there is no meal basket delivery service to the C˚3 refuge, we do include a breakfast basket to be picked up in our reception area upon arrival. The basket generally includes items such as sourdough bread, Artery Community Roasters ground coffee, homemade jam and other treats to give you a little bit of Terre & Neige during your stay.

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in this refuge. Please check availability in our A-Frame or C˚2 if you wish to travel with your pup!
